Banana Dance… talent show!!

Who knew that a handmade banana costume, a little bit of clowning, and a whole lot of absurdity would feel so natural and thrilling to perform? This performance is more than just a joke, it’s a mashup of humour, movement, and surreal art, all wrapped in one slippery, chaotic, joyful act.

I’ve always loved pushing boundaries through physical theatre and dance . I wanted to go for the funny. But I wanted it to mean something too. By exaggerating scale (yes, that banana was both a prop and a statement), blending sharp comedic timing with awkward grace, and throwing in a touch of the unknown for my audience, I aimed to create a spectacle.

A banana slip, a stumble, a pause… all become part of a bigger dance that asks: Can art be fun and entertaining? YES IT CAN!!
