Vibratory - This installation brings together suspended and grounded textile forms to explore states of transition, protection, and weight. The hanging elements hover overhead like fragments of shelter, glyphs or drifting sound. Their layered translucent surfaces allow light and shadow to pass through and multiply across the space.

Shadows function as an extension of the work, activating the walls and ceiling and positioning the viewer inside the installation rather than outside it. Moving through the space, the body becomes aware of its own scale and vulnerability, caught between suspension and grounding. You may float through the space or sit in contemplation among the creatures and forms.
